Looking to the future
In 2025, the city of Enschede will celebrate its 700th anniversary, and we want to celebrate it again with Textiles Technology Twente as the theme, already present in our Stichting De Maere logo.
In 2023, the foundation celebrated its 75th anniversary with the symposium Thinking Textiles on 1 December in Enschede. Looking ahead to 2025, when the city of Enschede marks its 700th anniversary, De Maere Foundation, together with the Municipality of Enschede, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, and ROC Twente, plans to host an event themed Textiles Technology Twente. Alumni will have special networking opportunities and a chance to showcase their contributions to the industry.
Make sure to become a FRIEND OF DE MAERE, and stay actively involved with the developments in Textiles Technology Twente, with former students / alumni of Saxion University and ROC Twente.
